Twellow isn't that great. A lot of people that you end up auto-following are useless especially the bots. You are better off adding people yourself.

Just downloaded Tweet Deck and I'm beginning to use it. It's really great and useful, I'm just going to start setting up groups now.

I'm a fan of http://tweepsearch.com for bio search, but then, that's because I made it. ;)
It allows you to search all indexed bios as well as limit the search to only those that follow you or that you follow. And even though Twellow claims to have more people indexed, road tests show that TweepSearch returns more results - not quite sure why.

Another great site is http://Twackle.com It organizes and makes it more efficient to follow your favorite sports tweets without having to do a search in Twitter everytime.

I never realized there were so many different apps for Twitter. I've just started using it and didn't think much of it, but now I thingd I'll rethink it's abilities.
