DotSauce Magazine: Advertising Sales: Must Have WordPress Plugin

  • El Yanqui · 1 year ago
I don't advertise, but I love plugins and widgets. I like the way Wordpress is packaged light and allows near-unlimited customisation by user generated plugins and widgets.

@El Yanqui, I don't advertise directly through banners on my site either, but it's a great idea. Love widgets :)

    Thanks for your recommendation.

Thanks for the article about OIOpublisher, Mike. Good point on the purchase pages also (same goes to the user who emailed) - I would like to completely re-do those pages, to integrate with the blog theme automatically, and add in some more info on each ad type at the top of the page.

Any suggestions on a good default layout welcome.

I initially assumed the javascript selection to view ad type details would be enough, but I agree having it be the first thing you see would be an improvement *added to list*.

I just wanted to let people know about a thread I just started on the site forum. There have been a lot of suggestions for improvements lately, and given that I don't want to miss anything, I've created a thread where people can leave their suggestions, for me to go through one by one.

    Now, back to work. ;)

Hi, just wanted to say I thought this was a very interesting read.

Not to stray off, but there are many different ways to effectively advertise your business, and targeted email marketing is still one of the best as long as you know exactly what you are getting for your money.

Already put your site in my bookmarks/feeds

Wordpress has some of the coolest plugins. If they didn't have plugins, I probably wouldn't use Wordpress at all. It amazes me all the different kinds of Wordpress plugins. I hear there are over 3000 plugins and now this advertising plugin! I want to stress that site owners should continue to use other forms of advertising like article marketing, forum posting, ppc, and free advertising networks. Never can get too much traffic.
