  • ssamriga · 2 years ago
    Yeah! Go, go, go!
We'll be rich once they are all gone, I think today in a few hours...
  • Mark Fulton · 2 years ago
I wouldn't say all of us ssamriga. I only own four LLLL's I think. :) I am happy for you and others with nice portfolios full of them.

As of now less than 250 domains are there. The magic moment can be anytime soon

I got mine! Pronounceable, from ebay for 0.99 just a couple months ago... sweet!
  • Matt · 2 years ago
I have been waiting a long time for this day and now it has happened. But will this buy-out hold? I believe so. This buy-out wasn't done by a single person/entity.
  • Terabell · 2 years ago
It is good to see that they have gone, however I am wondering if the fad will saty this way - will there be that much demand for something with an x and a q in it in the future? or are they just thinking that they will be like the 3 letter domains, where acronyms are much easier to make.
  • Ross, Hatchthat · 2 years ago
That is amazing. How many 5 letter domains are left?
  • Forrest · 2 years ago
This is just amazing! How long until the five and six letter domains are all snatched up? How many of them will be of value in ten years?

All of this reminds me of schoolboy math; remember learning about exponential equations? I wouldn't be surprised if the one letter domains got snatched up with in the first year ... and then more and more in less time as the web becomes more central to every day life.

I guess it is just the ease of tying 4 letters, but I mean why other than that are 4 letter words so important? Does it help that much to have one?
  • Steve · 2 years ago
Here is a free LLLL.com Domain Name Guide that you can download (right click and save to your computer) http://www.diskettes.info/4letter.pdf
  • Vlad · 2 years ago
So I have a few 4-letter domains. Are there any good places to find out the price for them?
  • Tevenauta · 2 years ago
People get so blinded by short domain names that they forget that short is only good as a proxy of pronounceable and memorable. What good is a four letter domain if nobody including the owner can remember it? If it's only four letters, but it's not pronounceable or otherwise memorable, it's worthless people! (unless it's an acronym, etc, but that would make it memorable).
  • Daniel Errante · 2 years ago
    That's scary. I've always wanted a 4 letter domain name. Guess I won't get one now ;(
  • Mark Fulton · 2 years ago
Daniel, if you do your homework it is still quite easy to catch expiring LLLL.com domains or backorder them. Alternatively you can buy a half-decent one for around $25-$35 on one of many domain industry forums.

I know that I will be seeing a post like this in next years about LLLLL.com 5 L’s domains and that times 4 L’s will reach $100K+ , That’s my assumption
  • Anime AllStars · 2 years ago
domain names has become digital real estate =)
  • Helen · 1 year ago
    I have now the XPSO.com :) (LLLL.com)
  • Rudy · 1 year ago
So how exactly do I put a dollar value on my four letter domain name?
  • Adam ka Hosting · 1 year ago
I want to know can we register any 4 letter domain or they all has been taken because i have searched allot to register one, and every time i get the result that its been taken.
  • Domain Investor · 1 year ago
these days even a bad combination LLLL.com fectches at least $25 in forums, and expired domain auctions.
  • George · 1 year ago
Registering or buying just any 4 letter domain is not smart at all. What are you going to do with say YGHQ.COM? Radio statio n will buy it? How much possibility is that? You better spend your money more wisely, say on collectible banknotes, gold or immovable property.
  • happylinks.org · 1 year ago
George, YGHQ.com may not mean something too special but as time is passing, more and more domains are registered, that domanin can't lose its value because is short and com.
Btw.. HQ is HighQuality .. YG can be anything
