It is surprising to see such large sums of money paid to those who work for SEO. These domains are expensive, but in the long term, they are great.

Re: SEO.com Domain Purchased for $5 Million

so, did SEO consulting rates go up? seo is a good name, but for 5m, i think i would rather leave the money in the bank at .01% interest

Re: SEO.com Domain Purchased for $5 Million

This is mad how much domains is still worth.

Thanks for the update.

Re: SEO.com Domain Purchased for $5 Million

That is way too much to pay for a domain.

Re: SEO.com Domain Purchased for $5 Million

It doesn't really matter that much whether your domain name falls under the specific industry. That company went bankrupt and the domain was held by the bankruptcy attorney for some time. His asking price was $75K in early 2006. I'm kicking myself for not buying it, but I thought the price was a little steep.

C. J.
